Goldie M. Harnage Pearson, 77, of Tallahassee, entered into Heaven’s gates on Saturday, August 18, 2018, at Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare. The family will receive friends from 5:30 until 7:30 PM, Friday, August 24, 2018, at Abbey Funeral Home. Flowers are being accepted or a memorial contribution in her memory may be made to a charity of your choosing. The daughter of the late Henry Bentley Harnage and Alma Goodson Harnage, she was born in Ocala, Florida on November 9, 1940. Her brother, Norman Harnage, has also preceded her in death. She was a member at Timberlane Road Church of Christ and more recently, at Centerville Road Church of Christ. She is survived by her children, Gary Pearson, Cindy Heaberlin (husband, Larry) and Raymond Cates (wife, Karen); grandchildren, Justin Pearson, Jessica Helton (husband, Ted), Michael Lee Pevey II (wife, Jessica), Haley Kinsey Cates, Tyler Bentley Cates and Hannah Sloan Cates; eight great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Peggy Harnage; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
