A daughter of the late Horace and Era Phillips Jones, Glenda Kay was born September 19, 1951, in Greenville, Alabama. Also preceding her in death is a brother, Marcus Jones. She was a legal secretary with the State of Alabama. A friend to all, she was always thinking of others and giving to others. She was also a rescuer of animals.
She loved the mountains and beaches and enjoyed fishing, as well as watching golf and football. Gardening and interior decorating were also hobbies she enjoyed.
Survivors include her children, Kerri Conger, of Prattville, AL and Cody (Despina) Conger, of Pensacola, FL; siblings, David (Shirley) Jones, of Verbena, AL, Janice Sconyers, of Havana, FL, Therrel (Frances) Jones, of Scottsboro, AL, Michael (Maria) Jones, of Dunnellan, FL, Pat (TR) Munn, of Ozark, AL and Nancy Easterling, of Ariton, AL. She is also survived by a sister-in-law, Kali Callies, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other loved ones.
