Ms. Fannie Mae Pandolfi, 88, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Monday, June 26, 2017. Born July 10, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Sam and Clara Lawson Meredith. She grew up as “a Coal Miner’s Daughter” in Pineville, Kentucky. Fannie graduated from the Red Bird Mission in Beverly, Kentucky. Survivors include three loved sons, Victor (Cindy) Pandolfi, Robert (Bridgett Monika) Pandolfi, and William (Diana) Pandolfi; two very special nieces, Mona (Frank) Hamilton and Donna (Peter) Chin, and a close family friend she loved as a fourth son, David Wayne Britt; seven brothers and seven sisters; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Fannie volunteered in Tallahassee as a Gray Lady at Leonard Wesson Elementary School, drove a school bus, and after 30 years of service with the State of Florida, retired from the Florida Department of Agriculture. Fannie loved collecting antiques, square dancing and music. She shared her love of music with her three sons and encouraged them to play music. Fannie was a loving and nurturing mother who was well loved by all who knew her.
