Dorothy Lucille Tribble Smith, affectionately known as “Dot”, was born August 1, 1939 to Ulysses and Minnie Lee Tribble in Newberry, SC. She departed her earthly home to enter her heavenly home on Friday, July 28, 2023.
She was a faithful member of Union Baptist Church in Thomasville, NC for many years until her health declined and was unable to attend as she wished.
Our beloved Dot had her share of seeing the world; living in New York, Georgia and Germany. After her travels, Dot made Thomasville her home.
Dot was preceded in death by her parents, Ulysses and Minnie Lee Tribble; her brother, A.C. Tribble and her son, Eugene Smith, Jr.
She leaves to cherish her memory, devoted cousins, Eddie Glenn, Myra Stafford and Ray Gary, and a host of other loving family members.
