Ms. Chrystine Nichols Maaytah, age 77, of Lanett, Alabama passed away on Monday, October 30th, 2017 at the East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika.
Ms. Maaytah was born in Lanett, Alabama on September 12th, 1940 to the late Owen Nichols and Cozette Clark Nichols.
Chrystine worked for many years in the Valley and Lanett area as a nurse. She worked several years for the West Point Stevens Company as a company nurse.
She was a passionate Auburn University football fan and loved spending time and enjoying her grandchildren.
She was of the Methodist faith.
She is survived by her son and his wife, Desmond Jalil Maaytah and Jodi Maaytah, Hamilton, Ohio; grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Blake, and Kelsey Maaytah.
