Chrishonn Denise Smith was born on January 31, 1969 to Richard Lee Smith (deceased) and Katerine Lawson Smith in Tallahassee, Florida. She transitioned into eternal life on Monday, February 26, 2018.
Affectionately known as Chris, graduated from Amos P. Godby High School and continued her advanced education at Florida A&M University.
Chris accepted Christ as her Savior at University Church of God in Christ at a very early age and continued her service at University Ministries International. It became obvious early in her life that she had a passion for singing. That passion lead to her being a member of several choirs throughout her life. There was always excitement among anyone serving with her or just experiencing her time in praise. Chris will always be remembered as exuberant while singing praise and worship.
Chris was employed at Southeastern Urological Center in Tallahassee for over 14 years, where she dutifully served as surgical administrative assistant. In her leisure, Chris enjoyed watching sports, specifically football and basketball. She was a Florida Gator enthusiast and fan.
Chris will be remembered most for her love for God and family.
