Brooke Michele Whittington earned her angel wings on Saturday, September 26, 2015 from injuries suffered in an automobile accident at the age of 20. She was originally a resident of St. Bernard Parish until Hurricane Katina and then a resident of Madisonville. She is survived by her mother and step-father Joni Sensebe and Daniel Brown, her father Michael Whittington, Brothers Matthew and Andrew Whittington, step-sister Ashley Brown, Grandmother Constance “Co-Co” Corne Sensebe, Grandfathers Earl “Hammie” Maranto and James “JP” Whittington, Uncle Jeff Whittington and his wife Karen, Aunts Susan and her husband Richard Happel, Patrice “Nanny Pat” and her husband Bobby “Paran” Poucher, Michele “Nannie” and her husband Kenneth Blum. Special Aunt Brookie to her two favorite little guys Andrew “Drew” Whittington, Jr. and Dustin Brown. She is also survived by numerous cousins and many, many friends who were dear to her heart.
Brooke is preceded in death by her grandmother Joann Dillon Whittington, Uncles James P. Whittington, Jr. and Jason Whittington, and Aunt Theresa Whittington.
Brooke was in her junior year at LSU majoring in Bio-Chemistry/Pre-Pharmacy and a waitress at Acme Oyster House in Baton Rouge. She was a 2013 honor graduate of Mandeville High School where she was a member of the Spinnakers Dance Team and a former competition dance team member with Maureen Bersuder Academy of Dance Arts for many years. Dance was her passion and she is now dancing amongst the stars for eternity.
