Ms. Angela Williams-Porreca, age 54 made her transition affectionately on Monday, September 28, 2020 at Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee surrounded by loved ones.

Angela was born on February 17, 1966 to Joseph and Dorothy Williams, who preceded her in death, in Northampton County, NC.

She received her formal education through the public schools of Halifax County, NC. She attended Winston Salem State University at which time she enlisted in the United States Army.

SGT Angela Williams-Porreca honorably served her Country from 1986-1993 in the United States Army. During that time, she got married, had two children and traveled to South Korea twice. Angela chose to leave the military in order to devote her undivided attention to her family. She made her home and resided in Clarksville, TN.

Angela was an educator. She taught students at Marshall Elementary and Mahaffey Middle School in Fort Campbell, KY. She had a way with simplifying things so that anyone could comprehend the lesson. She also had patience with students who learned differently and needed extra attention to fully understand what was being taught.

Angela loved the Lord. She had a variety of interest; she loved cooking for her family.

In addition to her father and mother, Angela has now been rejoined with her brothers; James Allen, Joseph, Walter, Allen Boone, Donald and Bernie Williams…may you all rest in peace and have a blessed reunion!
