Yvonne Ryder Fort passed away on Thursday, February 19, 2009 at 9:15 AM. Age 87 years. Beloved step mother of John L. Fort and dear friend of Sue and Gregory Brown and Odis Hollingshead. Mrs. Fort received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music from Loyola University in 1943 and a Doctorate Degree in Pharmacology and Chemistry in 1982. She had a successful career for many years as a Pharmacist. She was a member of the Women’s Pilot Association, and obtained a private pilot’s license in 1965. She was an avid pilot and owned her own plane. Mrs. Fort was also an accomplished pianist.
