Mrs. Willie Lee Sands Cline, age 94, of Valley passed away on Monday, December 5, 2016 at the EAMC Lanier Nursing Home.
Mrs. Cline was born on November 5, 1922 in Penton, Alabama to the late Rev. Luther Birchfield and the late Mattie Lee Magbee Birchfield.
She attended Happy Valley Baptist Church and was a beautician in the Valley area for several decades.
Mrs. Cline was preceded in death by her sisters, Dorothy Jean Powell, Mae Knight, Louise Threadgill, Nadean Sims; her brother, Milton Birchfield; her son, Lloyd Alton Gauntt; her husbands, Ralph “Cotton” Sands and Warren Cline.
She is survived by her sons, Larry Joe (Brandi) Sands, Huguley, AL., Joey (Debby) Cline, Woodbury, GA.; grandchildren, Jennifer Chavez and Cheryl Sands of Huguley, along with their mother, Tracy Taylor, Shelby Worthy, Valley, Cindy Bowles, Newnan, GA., Brenda Gay, Macon, GA., Charles Hankins, Warner Robbins, GA., Bradley Cline, Woodbury, GA., Tiffany Cline, Griffin, GA.; 10 great grandchildren; special niece and caregiver, Ginger Smith; numerous nieces and nephews.
