Mrs. Voncile Hadaway Beck “Mama Cile”, age 95, of Valley, Alabama received a call on Saturday, November 21st, 2020 that she could not refuse. A reunion with loved ones and friends that have passed on.
Mrs. Beck was born on August 19th, 1925 in Chambers County, Alabama to the late Gus Hadaway and Effie Odessa Prophett Hadaway. She was also preceded in death by her husbands, Elbert Cletus Givorns and Anthonia Beck; children, “Bubba” Gene Givorns, Duane Givorns, Brenda (Thomas) Gray; great great-grandson, Draven Samuel McCall; siblings, Howard and Lucille Hadaway, Gladys and Buford Pritchet, Ruby Hadaway, Luther and Ester Mae Hadaway, Augusta Jr. and Mary Lois Hadaway, Roy and Vera Mae Hadaway, Vivian Irvin Hadaway, Effie May and Junior Pugh, Lewis Fuller Hadaway, James and Doris Hadaway, Jasper and Pearl Hadaway, John and Mary Hadaway, Paul Franklin Hadaway, Mary Elizabeth and Willie Whitlow, Richard Zeiger, Opal Pauline Hadaway.
She was a member of the Fairfax Congregational Holiness church.
She is survived by a multitude of grandchildren, great- grandchildren, and great great-grandchildren; sister, Faye Zeigler; daughter-in-love, Linda Givorns Kelley; sister-in-love, Alice Hadaway; brother-in-laws, Colin Beck, Court Beck; a host of nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the staff of EAMC Lanier Nursing Home for the care and kindness shown to Mama Cile and her nephew and preacher Clinton Hadaway.
