Ms. Virginia L. Tennant, age 78, of Milford, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, February 21,2010 at West River Health Care Center. Daughter of the late James and Marion Downey Tennant, she was born on January 17, 1932 in Bridgeport.Virginia was a sales clerk for Filene’s for many years before her retirement.
Survivors include her sister Diane Rogers and her husband Robert Morrill of Milford, two nieces Michele Savoy and her husband Jack of Oxford, and Megan Morrill of Milford, two nephews Robert Morrill Jr. and James Morrill both of Milford, and a cherished grandniece Marissa Savoy of Oxford.
