Mrs. Vickie Lynn Nelson, age 61, of Valley, AL passed away on December 31st, 2019 at her home.
She was born in Columbus, GA on October 11th, 1958 to the late Richard Shue and Edna Tew.
As she entered into heaven she was reunited with the love of her life, husband, Wyatt Nelson. Her siblings are Richard Shue, Bobby Shue, and the late Sandra Campbell. Children are David Lynn (Vickie) Nelson, Tina (Mike) Spradlin, Kathy (Don) Mullendor, Elvis (Tabitha) Nelson, Tommy (Brandi) Nelson, and Tiffany (Chris) Mayo. She had 17 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren that she loved with all of heart.
Vickie worked as the Lanier Nursing Home Activities Director for many years prior to her retirement. She took pride in planning for the residents and was loved by many.
