Veronica Repko Scull, age 90, known to family and friends as “Queen” longtime resident of Milford and beloved wife of Joseph R. Scull, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 28, 2011 at home surrounded by her family. Born on October 10, 1920 in Bridgeport, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Theresa Tassinaro Repko. Prior to her retirement, Veronica worked for the Milford Board of Education as head of payroll for over 25 years. She was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother and especially enjoyed cooking big family meals for them.
In addition to her husband Joseph of 68 years, she is survived by a daughter Linda V. Scull and her husband James Powers of Atlanta, GA, two sons, Jeffrey Scull and his wife Mary Treat of Niantic, CT and Paul Scull and his wife Carol of Devon, and a sister Rita Miko of Shelton. Also four grandchildren, Melanie, Meghan, Paul and Michael Scull and five great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
