Tjawana “TJ” Thurmond Barineau Brickey was born on September 26, 1945, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to Elmer and Willa Lee Thurmond. She left this earth and met her heavenly Father on Friday, November 24, 2017.
TJ was a gentle woman of faith. She lived her life serving God, loving her family, and adoring her husband. She enjoyed all her travels out west, to the beach, and to the mountains with her husband and the memories they created together.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 20 years, Richard Brickey; her three sons, Kevin (Colleen) Barineau, Ken (Robyn) Barineau, and Keith Barineau; her sister, Patricia (Lyndel) White; brothers, Lee (Edwina) Thurmond and David (Mary Kaye) Thurmond; mother in law, Loraine Schuster; and sister in law Anne (Ted) Olkowski; seven grandchildren, Reed Barineau (Mary), London Barineau, Reagan Barineau, Kiran Barineau, Nayan Barineau, Kensey Barineau, and Navi Barineau; and a multitude of nieces and nephews.
