Mrs. Susie “Sue” Margaret Craft Lindsey, age 80, of Lanett passed away on Sunday, August 28, 2016 at her residence.
Mrs. Lindsey was born on June 10, 1936 in Little Texas, Alabama to the late Lonnie T. Craft and Mary Eunice Sego Craft.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, William P. “Bud” Lindsey; daughters, Connie (Aron) Halsey, Nathalie, VA., Jan Cook, Lanett; siblings, Jackie Edwards, Auburn, Lonnie Lucy, Wetumpka; special friends and caretakers, Ruby Roberto and Francie Harper; grandchildren, Jason (Jenny) Halsey, Durham, N.C., Bryan Halsey, Elon, N.C., Taylor (Jessica) Halsey, Nathalie, VA., Meredith Cook, Madison, AL., Elizabeth Cook, Shocco Springs, AL., Eric Cook, Lanett, William Lindsey (Ashley) of Phenix City; great-grandchildren, Jacob, Seth, Hannah, Chandler, John Douglas, and Brayden.
Mrs. Lindsey was preceded in death by her son, William P. “Billy” Lindsey, Jr.; sister, Mary Joyce Kyser.
Mrs. Lindsey was a longtime Sunday School teacher who touched many children’s lives.
