Shirley Jean Jessup, 65, peacefully passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2016, while surrounded by her loving family. She was born September 19, 1950, in Miami, Florida, to the late John Brown, and Pauline Jernigan Brown, who survives.
She is also preceded in death by her grandparents, Mirame and Claude Jerningan and Mary and Josh Brown. She retired from Century Link, with 45 years of service as a telephone programmer. She enjoyed going to Panama City Beach, the mountains and reading. She loved spending time with her family. Surviving are her husband, Robert “Bobby” Jessup; sons, Robert Jessup II (Charlene), Richard Jessup (wife, Aimee) and John Jessup (wife, Ashlee); grandchildren, Tyler, Paige, L.B., McKinlee and Nolen. She is also survived by a brother, Bobby Brown (wife, Deborah).
