Mrs. Shirley C. Mann, age 70, of Lanett, Alabama passed away at her daughter’s residence on Wednesday, June 7, 2017.
Mrs. Mann was born in Langdale, Alabama on August 7th, 1946.
Mrs. Mann attended and graduated from Valley High School, Class of 1964, where she was a member of the marching band.
She was known for the draperies that were handmade by her when she worked for Pasleys Fabrics.
She was currently employed by Wal-Mart in Valley.
Her passions included spending time at the beach, cooking, and learning about technology. She embraced technology and computers and the internet became one of her favorite pastimes.
Mrs. Mann is survived by her husband, Richard Mann, Lanett; daughter, Melanie (Ryan) Belyeu, Opelika; son, Keith Jennings, Valley; sister, Nancy Price, Huguley; grandchildren, Mark Jennings, Matthew (Crystal) Hall, Jacob Browning, Ashley Jennings, Chris (Kendyl) Jennings, Madison Jennings, Brandon Jennings; great-grandchildren, Harlee Hall, Skyler Hall, Nirvana Jennings, Savannah Jennings, and one great-grandson soon to be born.
