Shirley A. Esposito, age 80, of Spring Hill, Florida, beloved wife of the late Charles Esposito, passed away on May 25, 2010 at CT Hospice in Branford. Daughter of the late Alfred and Mary Anzalone North, she was born in Bridgeport, CT.
Shirley retired as Director of Medical Records for Griffin Hospital. After retirement she was the Tumor Registrar at Norwalk Hospital. She was a member of the American Health Information Management Association, and a past President of the Connecticut Chapter. An enthusiastic player of mahjongg, billiards and golf, Shirley was a world traveler and had a gift for making exquisite needlework
Survivors include her four children, Lisa (Gerald) Kamas of Danbury, Joli (Jan) Wankowicz of West Haven, Chip (Kimberly) Esposito of West Haven, and Aime (Fred) Kaesmann of Stratford, several cherished grandchildren and great grandchildren. Also a sister Mary Lou Carr-Miller of Fairfield, CT, a brother Gregory North, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Alfred North.
