Shan E. Stover, 67, of Centralia, passed away Saturday, March 9, 2019, at SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon. She was born on August 26, 1951, in Centralia, the daughter of Robert Love and Perlita (White) Love. She married Harold B. Stover, Jr. on May 21, 1972, and he preceded her in death on April 30, 2013.

She is survived by two daughters: Dr. Lauri Ann Stover-Hartmann and husband Tad of Sparta and Brooke White and husband Rick of Centralia; a son: Derrik Stover and husband Shawn of Centralia; four grandchildren: Jason Profancik, Jr., Alison, Brenna, and Colin Hartmann; a sister-in-law: Susan Smart and husband Jesse of Bloomington, niece: Deborah Barton of Bloomington; a nephew: Gregory Smart of Hoopeston, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and a granddaughter, Sarah Hartmann. Shan enjoyed sewing and crocheting. She loved animals and volunteered at the Centralia Humane Society. She also enjoyed spending time with her family.
