Sally Ann Caruso, age 54, of East Haven, beloved wife of Philip Caruso, peacefully passed away, surrounded by her loving family after a courageous 15-year battle with cancer, on Monday, March 8, 2010 at CT Hospice, Branford. Daughter of the late Salvatore J. and Josephine Autore Pluchino, she was born on January 12, 1956, in Bridgeport. In addition to her husband, she leaves three devoted sisters, Georgette Hoponick and her husband Dennis of Maryland, Joanne Pluchino and her partner Michael of East Haven, and Sandy Baldelli and her husband Tony of Ansonia, and several nieces and nephews. Sally’s incredible zest for life, her great sense of humor, and her love to live life to its fullest, was an inspiration to the lives she touched.
