Mrs. Ruth Stevenson entered into eternal rest on Friday, March 27, 2015. She was the third of seven children born to the late Elijah and Opal Horsley.
On August 20, 1944, she married the late Archie W. Stevenson and to this union three daughters were born. They were married for fifty-six years until his passing on March 6, 1998. Ruth was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker.
She leaves to cherish her memory: three daughters, Corine Stevenson (Mathis Terry), Florine Stevenson Blount (Leonard) and Diane Stevenson all of East Point, Georgia. She also has a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
