Mrs. Ruth M. Elliott Porciello, age 68, of Milford, beloved wife of the late James Porciello, passed away on Thursday, February 25, 2010 at Milford Hospital.
Born in Bridgeport on December 28, 1941, daughter of the late Clayton J. and Edna Sedgewick Elliott, she was a Jewelry Manager at KMart in Milford until her retirement. Ruth was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She enjoyed watching NASCAR.
Survivors include two devoted daughters Diane Wargo and her husband Christopher and Lisa Gill and her husband Robert, all of Milford and four grandchildren, Robert, James, and Jennifer Gill and Marissa Wargo. She also leaves five siblings, Judy Sweet of Virginia, Robert Elliott of Milford, Barbara Scalzo of Virginia, William Elliott and Michael Elliott, both of Milford, and several nieces and nephews. Ruth was predeceased by her brothers, Clayton and David Elliott, granddaughter, Melissa Gill, and nephew, Bartholomew Porciello.
