On January 11, 1930, Ruby L. Hill was born in Atlanta, GA to the proud parents, William and Amanda Petty, who preceded her in death.
Ruby attended the Atlanta Public school system. Upon finishing her education she became a private duty housekeeper until her retirement.
In 1960 she met and married Bobby L. Hill and in this union they had two children, Victor L and Venita Hill, who joined their siblings Linda and Dennis Wilson. Ruby was a loving and forgiving mother and always had a kind word to say to those she grew acquainted with. When the Big Red tent began in 1983, Ruby attended and joined the
On May 9, 2015, Sister Hill departed this life and now is resting in Jesus. She leaves to cherish her memories, her children: Linda Wilson, Dennis Wilson, Victor (Brenda) Hill, Vinita (Jimmy) Youngblood; four grandchildren: Tiffney Curler, Matthew Wilson, Amanda Hill and Brandon Hill; two great grandchildren: Ahmez Dix and Shamya Cuyler and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Family members who have preceded her in death: son, Michael Wilson; brother, Isaac Gaither and two sisters, Carrie B. Echols and Elizabeth Gaither. Our mother, grandmother and friend is now resting and waiting for God’s soon return.
