Rosemary Myers Lyons, age 91 of Milford and beloved wife to the late Benjamin E. Lyons, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at Milford Hospital. Born on December 16, 1920 in Bridgeport, she was the daughter of the late George and Florence Holcomb Myers. Prior to her retirement, Rosemary was a sales clerk for many years at the former Alexander’s department store in Milford. She was an avid UCONN women’s basketball and Boston Red Sox fan. A devoted and loving mother and grandmother, Rosemary will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her cherished daughter, Susan White and her husband Michael of Stratford, two grandchildren, Sean and Matthew White, her sister-in-law, Eleanore Myers Turkington and two nephews and a niece. Rosemary was predeceased by her son, William “Ben” Lyons, and a brother Robert N. Myers.
