Mrs. Shaw was born November 10, 1965, in Scottsboro, AL, daughter of the late Charles Ray and Mary Rosalyn Story Ward. She was a loving, wonderful mother and grandmother and was also a great cook. Her family was very important to her.

Survivors include sons, David Shaw and Johnny Shaw; daughter, Joni (Dewayne) Richardson; a brother, Dewayne Ward; sister, Margaret Ward; 7 grandchildren; special nephews, Cody Cotner and Edward Tudor; and several other nieces and nephews.
