Mrs. Romadell Butler was born August 20, 1937, to the late Lillie and Edgar Holifield in Scott County, Mississippi.
She was educated in Scott County Mississippi School System.
She and her family relocated to Indianapolis, Indiana in the late 1950’s, where she reared her children and made it their permanent home. Her step-children all preceded her in death.
Romadell was a devoted and loving house wife and homemaker. She enjoyed watching her grandchildren and many other close family members and children in the neighborhood. She also loved cooking and watching sports.
Mrs. Romadell Butler departed this earthly life on September 27, 2021, at the age of eighty four years one month and two days. Romadell was also preceded in death by her brother, DQ Holifield (Lula Bell)
She leaves to cherish her memory her two sons, Don L. Butler (Kimberley), and Bobby R. Butler; one daughter, Darlene (Terry) Davis; one brother, Leroy Holifield (Flossie); one sister, Dorothy Earl Holifield; grandchildren, Shanteel Butler, Deone Franklin Butler, Don L. Butler Jr, Terri A. Davis, and Tenae Davis; nine great-grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
