Robbie Avant Finch, 70, peacefully passed away on June 7, 2017, in Tallahassee. A daughter of the late Robert W. and Lela Gulledge Avant, she was born on June 22, 1946, in Midland City, Alabama. She is also preceded in death by a brother, Tommy Avant and a sister, Gloria Jean Avant. She had retired from the Florida Department of Highway Safety, Division of Motor Vehicles, and loved spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband, William L. Finch; daughters, Robin “Chris” Cartright and Jennifer “Matt” Hudspeth; stepsons, William Dewayne Finch and Marlon Joe “Debra” Finch; eight grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; brothers, Robert “Susan” Avant and Bill “Sonya” Avant; sister, Linda “Tommy Hosey” Hodges.
