Rita Mosby Fazzio passed away peacefully at the age of 85 on Thursday, May 27, 2010. Wife of the late Joseph Fazzio. Mother of Paula Gonzalez (Bob), Joann Corbino (Seb) and Joseph Fazzio (Patty). Grandmother of Bob Gonzalez, Jr. (Stephanie), Rick Gonzalez (Stacy), Susan Passauer (Louis), Cristy Edwards (John), Angela Johnson (Gordon), Jeffrey Corbino (Erin), Rachel Lemaire (Jacques), Rene Fazzio and Nicholas Fazzio. Also survived by 18 great-grandchildren. A resident of St. Bernard for over 50 years. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, playing cards with her friends and volunteering her time. She was an honored recipient of the St. Louis Award given by the New Orleans Catholic Archdiocese.
