She is also reunited with her loving husband of 35 years, Shirley James Sadler; daughter, Sylvia Sadler; and siblings, General Jackson Owens, Jr., Leonard Owens, Merle Wyatt and Doris Woodward.
Cherishing her memories are her children, Phyllis Sadler, Nancy Karen Davis, Pamela Sadler Moore Binek, Cynthia Willingham (Rich) and Amy Sadler, (Butch Cato); grandchildren, James Moore, Amanda Moore Price (Nelson), Amber Kreis, Michael Spence, Edward Spence and Jeremiah Cato; eight great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A dedicated homemaker and member of Capital Heights Baptist Church, she was known as MawMaw to her grandchildren. She made the best biscuits in the South, spoke to the Lord and read the Bible daily and loved to sing hymns. She never turned away anyone that needed help and lived in her house for 38 years, staying there up until the time of her passing.
