Ouida Nichols Allen, 89, of Tallahassee, peacefully passed into the loving arms of Jesus on Friday, February 02, 2018, while surrounded by her loving family. She was born on November 16, 1928, in Baker, Florida. She is preceded in death by her husband, Walter Mack Allen; father, Johnnie Nichols; mother, Minnie Kirkland Nichols; stepmother, Ora Ellen Nichols; brother, Eldred Nichols and sons-in-law, Victor Matthews and Mark Sullivan. She was a member of Freedom Church, First Assembly of God and was a very talented artist and painter. She is survived by daughters, Barbara Matthews, Vickie Bowden (Roger), Martha Elaine Sullivan, Lisa Allen (Charles Ball); grandchildren, Benjamin (Michaell) Gerrell, Walter (Sandi) Gerrell, Heather (Ben) Evans, Amanda Van de Velde, James Carl Bowden, Linda Carol Suarez, Oscar Suarez, Cody Allen Kelly, Dawson Allen Ball; great-grandchildren, Camille Gerrell, Phoebe Evans, Lillian Evans, Lacy Van de Velde, Weston Van de Velde and Kayleigh Van De Velde. Also surviving are her siblings, Cleta Griffith, Doug Nichols, Howard Nichols, Joyce Alexander, Betty Jackson and Mary Powell.
