Mrs. Opal Laverne McNair, age 86, of Valley passed away on Saturday, March 26, 2016 at her residence.
Mrs. McNair was born on December 29, 1929 in Chambers County, Alabama to the late Lala Pitts Clark and Park Clark. She was also preceded in death by her grandchild, Brandi Clifton, and her great-grandchild, Aiden Mote.
Mrs. McNair was a member of Happy Valley Baptist Church. She had worked at Playtex in LaFayette and in the Fairfax Mill towel department. She had also driven the Chambers County Bus for Senior Citizens.
Mrs. McNair is survived by her daughters, Wynette Tilley, Valley, Renee Jones, Valley; grandchildren, Crystal (Davis) Smith, Chad (Gaby) Mote; 7 great-grandchildren; sister, Gladys (Robert) Bonner, Donaldsonville, GA.
