Omie Merle Lewis, 83, of Tallahassee, Florida, passed away in the early hours of Wednesday, September 15, 2021, at Centre Pointe Health and Rehab. A daughter of James P. Williams and Marie Payne Williams Powell, of blessed memory, she was born in Geneva, Alabama on December 21, 1937.

Also preceding her in death is a son, John Andy Hall; sister, Reba Williams Alford; and brothers, Kenny Williams and James Williams.

Survivors include her children, William P. Hall, S. Wayne Hall, Richard Lewis, Rebecca Lewis and Rachel Lewis; daughter-in-law, Karen Hall; grandchildren, Travis Hall (wife, Alexis) and Joseph Hall; great-grandchildren, Gene Hall, Lewis Hall and Logan Hall; siblings, Hautense Basinger (husband, Carl), Kathy McCollum, Christine Garceau, Tommy Williams (wife, Patricia) and Roger Allen Williams (wife, Janet); as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

For many years she was an assistant manager for a local beverage store and later worked for several years at Karen’s Bakery in Crawfordville. She enjoyed reading and working puzzles; but most importantly, she loved her family.
