Mrs. Vaughn was born May 3, 1937, in Summerville, GA, a daughter of the late Earl F. and Mellie Martin Woods.
Mrs. Vaughn is survived by her husband, Pete Vaughn; son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Tasha Vaughn; sisters, Hazel Galloway, Martha Davis, and June Mitchell; grandchildren, Hayden and Ansley Vaughn, Taylor and Ashleigh Vaughn, Josey Edwards and Tyler Whitlock, and Aubrie Edwards; and 3 great-grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
