Nadia “Betty” Faulk Griffin, 96, Havana, passed away while surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, March 29, 2017. A daughter of the late Arthur Alonzo and Annie Lavine Dauphin Faulk, she was born March 23, 1921, in Laurel Hill, Florida. She moved to Tallahassee in 1945 and later moved to Havana. She was a member at Concordia Baptist Church and had retired from the Florida Department of Highway Safety as a Clerk. She enjoyed going to the beach, gardening, the Bible and her church, and had devoted her life to her family.
She is survived her children, Michael L. Griffin, Judi Croney, son-in-law, Tom Croney and Barbara Diane Hume; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She is also survived by one sister, Dorothy (Ben) Mills, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Leon R. Griffin; and siblings, Lowell Faulk, Donald Faulk, Grace Madden, Annie Mae McClary, Lois Watkins, Grady A. Faulk, Ewell Faulk, Eva Lee Strickland, Vera Belle Strickland and Medford Faulk.
