Mrs. Mavis O. Brower, age 77 of 25l Madison Lane, Cameron, N.C. passed on Saturday, March 20, 2010 at First Health Moore Regional Hospital, Pinehurst, N.C.
Her education was in the public schools of Harnett County. She accepted Christ at an early age at Spout Springs Presbyterian Church. Her Christisn walk continued as a member of Restoration Through Christ Ministries until her health failed her.
She leaves to cherish her memories: seven children, Hattie B. (John), Esther, Elizabeth (Tom), Mary (Danny). Willie (Tracy), Lisa (Voy), and Gwendolyn (James) all of Cameron, N.C.; one sister, Annie Kate Jones of Newark, NJ; two “special” sisters, Dorothy Washington of Cameron, N.C. and Arlene Scott of Long Island, NY; one aunt, Minnie Murchison of Olivia, NC; l8 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; two brothers-in-law, Wilbert and Kermit (Pearl) both of Sanford,NC; four sisters-in-law, Alice Brower, Mavis Fleming, Marie Wilkerson and Mary Brower all of Cameron, NC; and host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
