Mary Lee Colson passed away March 6, 2022, at the age of 82 with her loved ones by her side. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billie Francis Colson, parents, H. M. and Ettie Lee (Fry) Joyner, and sibling H. M. (Buddy) Joyner, Jr. Mary was born January 23, 1940, in Gainesville, Florida. She grew up in Fort White and attended high school in Trenton. She celebrated 50 years of marriage and retired after 30 years from the State of Florida. She enjoyed sewing and shopping at yard sales and thrift stores. She dearly loved her rescue pets Quincy, Lulu, and Prada.
Survivors include daughters Beverly Brown (Deryl), Janet Cumbie (Bill), and son Billie Colson, Jr. (Traci); grandchildren Johnny Taylor, Billie (Cissy) Taylor-Bryant, Mary Lynn Wood, Cameron Brown, Brandon Colson, Lacey Brown, Brittany Colson; great-grandchildren Taylor Beal, Hunter Beal, Lily Taylor, Colson Wood, Ava Taylor-Bryant, Braeleigh Colson, and Greyson Fultineer.
