Mary Jo Ledbetter, 82, of Tallahassee, Florida, passed away on Thursday, December 30, 2021, at Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare, while surrounded by her loving family.
The only daughter of Robert and Lillian Davis Keith, of blessed memory, she was born in Cedartown, Georgia on April 2, 1939. She is also preceded in death by her husband, George W. Ledbetter.
Survivors include her four children, Sonia Ledbetter Meadows (husband, Brad), Elisa Ledbetter Bentley (husband, Larry), George W. Ledbetter, Jr. (wife, Pat) and Isaac Keith Ledbetter; grandchildren, Jerrod Bagwell, Xavier Ledbetter and Syriah Ledbetter; great-grandchildren, Aubrey Bagwell and Bear Bagwell. She is also survived by special friends, Robin Alexander, Karen Dalton and her family and Mary Smith.
She was a member of the Eastern Star in Ragland, Alabama for over fifty years and served as the Worthy Matron in 1979. A lifetime member of Ragland First Baptist Church, she was very active in the church, serving as Sunday School Teacher, Pianist, soloist and choir member. After moving to Tallahassee, she became a member of Fellowship Baptist Church.
