Mary Jankowski, age 88 of Milford, wife of the late Charlie Jankowski, passed away at Griffin Hospital on December 9, 2010. Daughter of the late Antonio and Theresa Ianniello Buonassisi, she was born on September 23, 1922 in Bridgeport, CT. She was employed at Bridgeport Brass and subsequently retired from Sikorsky Aircraft in Stratford after many years.
Survivors include her brother Vincent Buonassisi and his wife Ethel of Houston, TX; sister-in-law Jeannie Nicholet of Monroe, CT; cherished nieces and nephews, Linda Malony, Bill, Bob and Tony Jacabacci, Bridget Oppedasino, Michael Jacabacci, David, Mark and Tom Nicholet, Lisa Spearman, Karen Scott and Rick Buonassisi. Also many great nieces and nephews. Mary was predeceased by her sisters, Ida Jacabacci and Jenny Nicholet.
