Marion Dixon Parmer, 98, of Crawfordville, Florida, passed away on Sunday, March 21, 2021, at Camellia Gardens of Life Care. Born in Enterprise, Alabama, on February 5, 1923, she was a daughter of Marion Wilton Dixon and Jonnie Mae Riley Dixon, of blessed memory.
Also preceding her in death are her husband of 71 years, Charles Allen Parmer; children, Janice Parmer Edwards and Joe Parmer; siblings, Jean Tindal, Frank Dixon, Emmett Dixon and William H. Dixon. Survivors include her children, Wayne Parmer (wife, Margaret) and Edie Harrison (husband, Charles); grandchildren, Jeffrey Wayne Parmer (wife, Rita), Janice Parmer James, (husband, Roy), Tye O’Hara Boynton (wife, Jillian), Matthew Parmer Harrison, Taylor Ashley Harrison and Clinton Joseph Parmer; great-grandchildren, Jeremy Wayne Parmer (wife, Carly), Amy Ann Roddenberry (husband, Kyle), Addison Michelle James, JohnParmer James, Eli James, Charlie Boynton and Clark Boynton; great-great-grandchildren, Nathan Roddenberry, Chloe Roddenberry and Ridge Parmer; siblings, Jonnie Merle Pouncey and Sally Harper. She worked as a cashier for many years at Winn-Dixie, was a member of Woodville First Baptist Church and enjoyed gardening, crafting, traveling and spending time with family.
