Marguerite Alice (Coy) Chambrello Marquis, 92 of Bristol, passed away peacefully on Tuesday April 5, 2011.  She was the wife of the late Carmen J. Chambrello with whom she celebrated 40 years of marriage and then was blessed to be the wife of the late Ludger Marquis and together they shared 20 years of marriage.  Born in Bristol on June 28, 1918, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Rose Marie (Moulthrop) Coy.

Marguerite was a down to earth person and liked to keep her life simple and to the point.  Her no nonsense spirit kept her focused on getting what she needed to get done and in an efficient manner. This applied to her profession where she was a hard working and dedicated employee for General Electric for 27 years.  She also enjoyed dancing and numerous trips to Lake George with her family.  Her grandchildren were the lights of her life and she loved to watch them play ball.  Marguerite was a beautiful person on the inside and out and she will be dearly missed by all those who knew her.

She leaves her loving daughter Carol Latko and her husband Bob of Bristol; a daughter-in-law Beverly Chambrello of Wolcott; her grandchildren Rob Latko, Rich Latko and Lisa Ingvertsen and her husband Andy all of Bristol; Debbie Batista and her husband Wally of Berlin; Carmen Chambrello, Jr. and his wife Patty of Wolcott; Jeffrey Chambrello and wife Corrie of New Hartford; 11 great-grandchildren; her step-children Rich Marquis and his wife Darlene; Roger Marquis and David Marquis; her 7 step-grandchildren; her 6 step-great-grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her son Carmen R. Chambrello and her 4 brothers and 2 sisters.
