Margaurite “Peggy” Pollifrone, 56 of Naugatuck, passed away on February 2, 2011 at CT Hospice in Branford. Born on August 10, 1954 in Milford, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Alice Parrott Hennessey. She was the wife of Frank A. Pollifrone, Sr.
After graduating from Jonathan Law High School, Peggy worked for many years at Frank’s Roman Castle/Page II Restaurant in Milford and then went on to become an Administrative Assistant for Yale University in the Pediatric Surgery Department. Margaurite loved to travel, especially during her three trips to Italy, and she greatly enjoyed cooking and enjoying meals with her family.
In addition to her husband Frank of 30 years, she is survived by their children, Christopher J. Burnham, Sr. and his wife Tiffany, Jaimelyn Burnham Gorman and her husband Phillip, Frank A. Pollifrone, Jr., and Nicholas S. Pollifrone; three grandchildren, Christopher J. Burnham, Jr., Shelby Burnham and Brett Burnham; her sister Sue Anne Pettis; seven nieces and nephews, Joseph S. Pettis, Allen Pettis, Stacey Pettis Brooks and her husband Edward Brooks, Jr., Michael Jennings, Antoinette Pettis, Edward Brooks, III and Alexis Brooks.
