Mrs. Margaret Brown, age 74, a former resident of Lanett, passed away on Sunday, April 24, 2016 at the Community Hospital in Tallassee, Alabama.
Mr. Brown was born on July 18, 1941 in Prattville, Alabama to the late, Bernice G. Hill and Albert A. “Buck” May. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Andrew J. “A.J.” Brown; sisters, Elaine Moncus, Jenny Shoemake; sister-in-law, Mary Alice Rudd; great grandson, Austin Smith.
Survivors include her two daughters, Donna (Steve) Nelson, Tricia (Dusty) Meadows; siblings, Wayne and Mike May; grandchildren, April and Brian Sexton, Tanya Nelson, Justin and Shelby Meadows; great-grandchildren, Jeni and Brooklyn Nelson, Caleigh Sexton, Barrett Sexton: sister-in-law, Sara Freeman; brother-in-law, Bo Brown; several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Brown was of the Baptist Faith. She was a caring and loving wife and mother.
