Margaret Grace Wood Van Wie, 82, of Tallahassee, passed away June 26, 2016, at her home in Cincinnati, OH with her daughter, Helen by her side. A daughter of the late Charles Elbert and Selena Yarbrough Wood, she was born April 29, 1934, in Roy, New Mexico. She was married to the late Harold Bert Van Wie, and was a retired school teacher and retail store manager. She moved to Tallahassee in October 1984, having come from Houston, TX. A faithful member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, she was a member of the Burleigh Law Sunday School Class, and the Good Sams Club. She is survived by, one son, Charles Bert Van Wie (Laura); two daughters, Helen Louise Van Wie Nead (Denny) and Susan Marie Van Wie Jenkins; five grandchildren, Andrew Van Wie (Heather; great-granddaughter, Amber), Kyle Van Wie, Michael Van Wie, Josh Jenkins and Jessica Jenkins; and numerous nieces and nephews and many dear friends.
