Margaret Elizabeth Lawrence, 97, of St. Cloud, Florida, formerly of Tallahassee, Florida, passed away on Wednesday, November 10, 2021. The only daughter of the late Thomas Goodrich Penland and Nettie Whittimore Penland, she was born in Asheville, North Carolina on June 15, 1924.
She is also preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Jack Lawrence; and her brother and only sibling, Thomas Goodrich Penland, Jr. She was a faithful member at Fellowship Baptist Church, was a dedicated homemaker and enjoyed taking care of homes.
Survivors include her son, Ronald Lawrence; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
