Lorraine M. (Jacques) Soucy, 89, of Bristol, passed away peacefully on Thursday November 24, 2011. She was the wife of the late Roy Soucy and together they had shared 67 years of marriage. Born in Caribou, Maine on September 13, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Laura (La Pierre) Jacques.
She leaves her daughters Carol Migacz of Wolcott; and Faye Desjardin of Bristol; her 6 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law Vella Panella of Plantsville; brothers-in-law Albert Soucy of RI; and Eddie Lavoie of Terryville; along with several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son Walter Thomas Soucy; and sons-in-law Robert Migacz and Patrick Desjardin.
