Mrs. Lily Marie McCarley, 76, a resident of Lanett, AL passed away Saturday, November 12, 2022 at East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, AL.
Mrs. McCarley was born on November 2, 1946 in Langdale, AL. She was a member of the Huguley Baptist Church where she loved her church family. She loved her own family which meant everything to her. She enjoyed cooking, crocheting and reading.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Elbert McCarley, Sr.; five sons, Elbert McCarley, Jr., Tony McCarley, Sr. (Kim), Johnny McCarley, Sr. (Tabitha), Timmy McCarley, Sr. (Shaunna), Tony McCarley (Amber); brother, Mike Yarbrough; 15 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Noverlene Yarbrough, father, Bud Hill, and brother, Eddie Voss.
The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses of the ICU at EAMC-Opelika for their care and comfort while at the hospital.
