Lillian Nell (Sutton) Bradford, 78, of Decatur, Alabama, passed away on August 23, 2017, in Tallahassee, Florida. She was born on August 1, 1939, in Danville, Alabama, and was the third of seven children born to James Monroe Sutton and Myrtle Leona (Pace) Sutton. Mrs. Bradford grew up on the Sutton family farm in Talucah, Alabama. She was a member of the Church of Christ and was a 1957 graduate of Cotaco High School. She lived and worked in Decatur for several years before her family relocated to Largo, Florida in 1972. She retired to Decatur in 1994. Mrs. Bradford had been living in Tallahassee, Florida for the past eight years due to health complications. Mrs. Bradford attended St Petersburg Junior College. She worked in accounting for several businesses in Florida. Later in her career, she opened two bookstores in Clearwater, Florida. Mrs. Bradford was an avid reader and a gourmet cook. She enjoyed spending time with family, gardening, the beach, music and dancing. Above all else, she was a beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend who had a contagious smile and a generous heart. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Edward Bradford; her parents; two sisters; Ruth Hill and Barbara Sutton; and a brother, Bob Sutton. She is survived by her three children, Alison Stowers (Kris), Tina Atkins, Tab Bradford (Heather); her five grandchildren, Jordan Walker (Nick), Dr. Lucas Stowers, Austin Stowers (Katelyn), Riley Bradford, and Judson Bradford; and one great-granddaughter, Mackenzie Walker; two sisters, Betty Mancuso and Sue Wright; and a brother, James Sutton, as well her nieces and nephews.
