Lillian Marie Rho Polio, 84 years old, passed away on Sunday, July 4, 2010 at Yale New Haven Hospital in New Haven. Born in New York City, she was the daughter of the late Santino and Eurenia Cresta Rho. A graduate of SCSU with a degree in Education, Lillian was an elementary school teacher for the Milford Board of Education at J.F. Kennedy School and upon her retirement, she worked at Stop & Shop. She enjoyed ceramics and crocheting and was an avid traveler. Lillian will be remembered for her kind and gentle spirit.
Survivors include her two daughters, Nancy Eugenia Antell of Branford and Karen Marie Polio Abu-Hanna Warner of Guilford and a son Rick A. Polio of Orange, four cherished grandchildren, Anthony and Christine Abu-Hanna and Aaryne and Jennifer Antell and several nieces and nephews. Lillian was predeceased by a brother Raymond Rho.
