Ms. Lessie Caddell, 92, of 952 Currie Street, Carthage, NC passed on Thursday, March 7, 2013 at her residence.
She is survived by ten grand children; Nelda Caddell of Raleigh NC’, Patricia Terrell of Charlotte, NC (she raised as her daughters); Lessie Phillips(Joe), Whispering Pines NC, her namesake and primary caregiver for the last four years; Sharon McLean (Michael) of Carthage NC; ; Dennis Covington (Charlotte)of Charlotte; Reginald Covington of Carthage, NC; Debra Taylor: (Perry); Dorothy Fryaer, (Kenneth), Larry Dowdy, WileyDowdy all of Washington DC. 16 Great grand children, and 13 great great grand children. Two sisters: Frances Person and Mary Johnson of Carthage NC; one son-in law, Denzil Covington; two sister inlaws, Jeanette Steven of Canton Ohio and Mary Hill of New York City, York and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
